Integrative Massage

Integrative Massage Therapy is a treatment that involves the integration of

massage and bodywork techniques from different modalities. From trigger

point therapy, shiatsu, myofascial release, stretching and aromatherapy.

Integrative massage is based on the idea that not just one modality is right

or can solve every problem of each individual. With this approach, every

individual issue of the body can be addressed.

Integrative Massage Therapy has been used to benefit clients from

muscular tension, enhance tissue healing, rehabilitate injuries, reduce

pain, improve recovery time, pre or post athletic events, fibromyalgia,

postural issues, depression, improve the flow of blood and lymph, increase

joint flexibility, improve mental awareness, reduce overall stress and aid the

ability of the body to heal itself.

Each session is structured with the clients specific goals in mind and they

are encouraged to take an active role to help provide the best results for

each treatment. Integrative Massage is formatted to meet the needs of

each client and help transition them towards a better life.

​Nutrition Counseling

A poor diet can cause health problems and health-threatening conditions

like obesity, metabolic syndrome and common chronic systemic diseases

like cardiovascular disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. It can also play a

key role in the onset as well as severity and duration of depression and

anxiety.

​

Whole, nutrient-dense foods are a necessary part of a healthy

lifestyle and wellbeing. Also included is understanding and controlling

portion sizes and limiting high calorie processed foods. Nutrient dense

foods provides the building blocks for a new body, healthy weight and

disease prevention.

Tibbs For Wellness provides personal nutrition consulting. With analysis

from your individual health history questionnaire, a personal food based

and supplement program is designed for you to help you make the

necessary adjustments for healing.

Learning how to incorporate nutrient dense, whole, unprocessed foods and supplements into your daily nutrition program will move you towards

achieving and maintaining optimum health.

Corrective Movement

Everyday in life, we are doing activities that create imbalances in our bodies. Like poor sleeping patterns, sitting too long or exercising with poor technique. Over a period of time we slowly develop these imbalances that lead to faulty movement patterns, bad posture, discomfort, pain and injury.

 

Learning the proper movement or exercise often means dialing it back a bit and performing the exercise or movement pattern to your current Each forty-five minute session is designed to create a series of exercises that will promote stability, mobility and strength in the areas that are not functioning properly.

The mind body connection is powerful. Learn the proper exercise technique for better posture, activity level, personal health and wellbeing.

45 minute session - 100.00

Clients will be notified through Practice Better for appointment times, medical history forms, food journals, supplements and payment via Square.
